Peanut butter chocolate bars are as tasty as they sound and as mentioned, earlier peanut butter is known to assist in reducing cholesterol among other things ….and we’re betting you didn’t realize that peanut butter could be used to make such a tasty treat that can be easily made! Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars Recipe
- 10 graham crackers
- 2/3 cup butter
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Line the bottom of a 10x15 inch rectangular pan with graham crackers.
melt the butter in the microwave until completely melted! ( about 45 seconds)
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine together the butter, confectioners' sugar as well as the peanut butter until smooth.
Spread over the graham crackers, and chill until firm. (about 15 minutes)
Melt chocolate chips in a bowl over simmering water or in the microwave oven, stirring regularly.
Spread over the layer of the chilled peanut butter mixture.
Refrigerate until firm, then cut into squares.
These keep well placed between sheets of waxed paper in an airtight container in the fridge.
